Phil and Jen’s Philippine Dream Honeymoon Gift List

A Wedding List? Well kind of… We are getting married but instead of a wedding list we would love your help in making our honeymoon truly memorable.

We do appreciate the sentiment/tradition of the wedding gift but we really don’t need any more stuff (we have at least two of most things! (Don’t ask us why?)), so we’ve compiled a list of fantastic experiences we hope to enjoy on our dream honeymoon instead.

This all might sound a little mercenary so far, particularly if you’ve not come across this idea before, but actually it’s quite amazing, easy peasy, and will feel like real present-giving (we’ve toyed with this idea and how to go about asking for what we’d really like, long before finding out there was a website tailored for just such a thing).

Rather than one big pot of faceless money, this awesome little web site delivers your named present and your personal message to us on our Wedding Day, for us to open just like a traditional wedding gift.

Once you’ve decided on something (there’s everything from your brass button budget presents to grand extravagant gestures) all you need to do is click on an item, leave your name plus a lovely message for us to read later and voila, you’ll have made our year.

To say thank you we will post photographs of us enjoying your gift(s) when we return, along with our sincerest gratitude. On the big day, bring or send us a card to wish us good luck and congratulations on our nuptials, plus a cheeky knowing smile (we won’t have a clue at this point) and enjoy travelling light (there’s no need to bring a gift with you, no table full of bulky packages sat there unopened, no hassle, no problem).
